the way I see it, and I know it sounds terrible, but Tumblr is my source for news. I don’t read the news paper or watch the news on a daily basis. I sometimes read the random yahoo articles on their homepage for fun but most of the time that isn’t even anything real world exciting. But honestly Tumblr isn’t such a bad source for news. I mean when something happens, it’s always on Tumblr minutes later like on a news broadcast, “BREAKING NEWS…” Like this morning I sign on and there’s news about SOPA all over the dashboard. I know there’s a lot of random junk on Tumblr sometimes but I just take those as getting the comic / humor section of the news. But then, you have your really interesting photography shots to interesting blog posts about some inner personal thoughts & feelings about certain topics I can relate with, and those are amazing to read, sometimes opens my eyes to a new perception. From all the sporty car shots to sexy babes to cooking recipes to news about how my friends are doing today to all the world’s problems it’s all on here in on simple page for my personal digest. So I guess you can say, even though I am under a rock, at least I’m aware of what’s going on out there… You’ve made me smile when I needed it to even making me cry. Thank you Tumblr for not being so useless all these times.
